Violen POV

The tense feeling did not end just like that; after lunch, Noah's grandmother invited me to talk about many things. At first, I was awkward, but Noah signaled that it was OK when his grandmother asked me to talk alone. So far, only Noah's grandmother has been the friendliest to me.

Grandma Noah invited me to chat in the house's yard, a garden filled with flowers and ornamental trees. Several garden lights complement the beauty, the snow does cover the green grass, but it seems that Noah's grandmother is more comfortable walking around the garden in her thick jacket and ignoring the cold wind that blows.

"Are you still cold?" Nana asked me. I shook my head because I was wearing only one winter jacket. But for me, it was enough, and the air wasn't too cold anyway.
