PAIN

Everyone stared at me and Dominic and i could feel my heart badly pounding against my chest and my hands trembling badly. I tried to show that i was strong but from inside , i was as scared as a 3 year old when it wouldn’t find its mother. My eyes met Kacy’s and she signaled me to walk with them to talk in private but before we could stand , Mathew stopped everyone.

“ whatever it is , talk in front of everyone , right here “

Dominic gazed at Mathew , his brother and there was something in his gaze which made me feel so cautious.

“ uncle “

Mateo’s voice rung in my ears as I looked at him and his eyes were darted at my hand which was still in Dominic’s hand and i also refused to remove it.

“ how could you do this ? “

Mateo glared at his uncle and the atmosphere tensed more. He had always worshipped his uncle but seeing him talking so hastily with him , shocked everyone.

“ why can’t i do it when you can “

Dominic fired back. His deep voice sending shivers down my spine.
