"What would you like to eat, Lucas? I have pancakes, cereal, chicken sandwiches, some cheese macaroni..." Chloe asked him all cheerfully but he just stared at her.
"You call yourself my mommy. Where were you all this time mommy?" He asked stoically and her heart dropped at his words as tears threatened to escape her eyes.
She moved forward and pulled him on her lap. "When you were just a baby, Serrano kidnapped you, he took you away from us because he wanted to hurt us. We searched for you but we... we couldn't find you." Her voice cracked as Lucas stared at her.
"Serrano said Andrew killed his brother." Lucas said looking emotionless and her heart trembled seeing her little baby talking about killing just like that.
