"I was born in a middle class family back in Mexico, both my parents were Mexicans. I was told that I had my mother eyes. I wouldn't know because she abandon us when I was only three. Papa raised me until I was nine years old, we actually moved to the US when I turn eight and he got a good job."

"One night he was driving—the roads were icy, but we were almost home. It all happen so fast that I can barely recall the incident. All I remember is my body flying out of his blue van, which hit a street light far away from where I was thrown."
