Fifty nine: I don't love her

Jade's pov.

I stared at my now brown hair in the mirror, taking in my new look. And I couldn't lie, I did look like my mother. I looked more like her than Suzy did and it only made me spite her the more. I was already starting to miss the red colour which had been my signature look until now but this was already done so it was a new era for me after all.

We had gone to the bar the previous day and I had to prepare my hair for the party the next day. Betty had looked at me in surprise and excitement when I told her I was going back to being a brunette and I could not wait to show her either.

And Saint too. I wondered what he would think of the new colour.

He would probably be surprised at the sudden change. I thought, turning my face to look at the other side of my hair.

He wasn't back yet and the thought of him seeing my new look was already making me even more excited that I couldn't wait to show him.

A few minutes later, I heard cars pull up and I looked out the window to see
