Seventy nine: Can you not?

Jade's pov.

"Saint, it's me," I said quietly, knocking on his door.

He didn't open up the first time which made me repeat myself. I waited for some time with crossed fingers before his door finally opened and I met his eyes, for the first time since the previous night.

I saw he was in a new shirt which had some blood stains on it and his lips were downturned in a frown. He didn't look stressed but he didn't look good at all.

"You shouldn't be up and walking around right now." He said to me in a flat tone before I could even speak.

I swallowed hard before responding, "I...I wanted to make food."

He ran a hand over his face, "I'll get one of the guys to do it. Go back to your room." It was more like an order than him saying it out of worry.

"I'm better now. I can-"

"Jade." He said cutting me off. His expression turned stern and he straightened his posture. He then took a large breath before continuing. "I'll tell one of the guys to do it."
