Twenty nine: Guilt, anger and sadness

Jade's pov

I stood defeated and still in shock, looking at the building in flames. The tears had suddenly ceased and all that was left were the trails on my face that were starting to dry up. Suzy was in there and she was dead. I did not see Marcel anywhere at the moment and I had not seen him since we came here either.

The gang of men laughed hysterically as the building burnt down and one of them turned to me amidst laughter, "Nice show, isn't it?" He asked.

I looked from him to the building and fell to the ground, my legs unable to carry me any longer.

"I haven't seen Lauretta since we came in, you know if she was able to make it here?" Another asked.

Lauretta? Who was Lauretta?

Immediately, I saw another gang of men rushing towards us.

"Fuck it! They're here." The head of the men who had told them to kill Suzy alarmed as he grabbed his gun.

I looked at the gang which rushed towards us. I was tired already, I hated this, I hated everything and if finally, I was going to die
