AARON'S POV

‘‘Forget about it, about us. ’’ I said, looking at her. Valencia looked at me without saying anything, her gaze darkened then she stood up.

‘‘Huh! Where are you going?’’ I asked and quickly held her wrist. She turned back and her left eyebrow lifted as she looked at me.

‘‘Who are you?’’ She said, without any changes in her expression.

‘‘Wh…what!? What are you saying?’’ I asked in surprise.

‘‘You said 'forget about it' so who are you again?’’ She said, and shrugged her shoulders.

That's when I realized that she misunderstood my words! Or I said it like that? Well, I didn't mean that.

I tucked her wrist and she fell down on my body on the bed. ‘‘What the—’’ She cursed as her head hit my chest. ‘‘What are you doing? Leave me!’’ She exclaimed, beating my chest with her small hands.

I wrapped my right arm around her waist, shushing in her ears. ‘‘Calm down, allow me to correct my words.’’ I said, tucking the strand of her hair behind her ear.
