AARON'S POV

Valencia's face goes blank at my words. She didn't look into my eyes as she bandaged my arm. The scratches are not hurting more than my heart.

The moment I woke up in the morning, my heart stopped beating as I saw her struggling in her sleep. It doesn't take me long to understand that she's again having a nightmare.

It's not the first time she had a nightmare in my presence. It's the second time and it was more serious than the last time. She has stopped breathing and thrashing like someone was choking her.

Valencia was so deeply trapped in her dream that unknowingly she started hurting herself, and when I tried to stop her. She starts to fight me more and unintentionally she scratches me.

But I didn't care about my injury when she was struggling with her life, and when she somehow woke her up. I finally breathe in relief seeing her fine.
