VALENCIA'S POV

Pain.

My body was in a lot of pain, as I had just undergone an operation a few moments ago. My left shoulder and stomach hurts while sitting in the passenger seat in the car, as Romeo was driving.

But right now, I can only focus on Aaron, how is he doing? Is he severely injured? My heart feels like someone is clenching it in their palm, squeezing it until I bleed.

My heart hurts just by the thought of Aaron getting hurt! He was in a car accident when I was playing on the track! I should be with him but stupid me!

Aaron must be hurt badly! He could be bleeding nonstop and I didn't know about this until now. I again failed to save my people. That man is right! I can never save someone precious to me.

I'm just a failure.

I'm just a mess.

A mess in my own head.

I fail to protect my people again and again.

I don't deserve to be the queen.

“Stop thinking nonsense!” Romeo said, catching me off-guard. He grabbed my hand in his, gently squeezing it.

“You're the best.
