I snapped at my mother as it was totally unbelievable for me that she had worked under a gangster named Saheb who is said to be chachu's biggest rival. I couldn't even comprehend how to react to this newly acquired knowledge.

"Yeah," she responded, putting a rest to all my speculations.

"That means you did mafia work as well?" I asked her straight.
