Amara recognised those magnetic grey orbs instantly. How couldn’t she when those eyes tormented her nights and ruled her days? The tension in her body was replaced with something unknown, even to her.

"R-Rhys?" She muttered in shock not believing her eyes. Why was he here? Did he kidnap her?

Rhys raised his brow, jerking her by the wrist making her gasp as he pulled her to his chest wrapping his arm carefully around her waist trying not to touch her wounds. The impact had her stumbling into his arms. Before she could move, he locked her arms behind her back.
