Chapter 24: Sky - Nightmares from Hell
Mark walked all the way back to the cabin with me in his arms. His strength impressed me, as I wasn’t the lightest person.
He placed me carefully on the bed, before giving me a kiss.
“Just rest, I’m right outside if you need me.”
Before he moved away from the bed, I grabbed his arm.
“Please stay.”
His eyes met mine.
“Are you sure? Leah said that you needed to rest.”
I nodded my head at him. A moment later he was in the bed next to me and I cuddled up to him and rested my head on his chest. The warmth of his body mixed with the familiar smell made me feel safe.
