CHAPTER 109: CAME BACK

When Red woke up, he felt a throbbing pain in his head. He slowly opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was a bright light. He had to cover his eyes because he was suddenly blinded and his eyes couldn't process the light yet.

"He's awake, thank you, doc..." he heard a familiar voice. He opened his eyes again and saw Miss Dein's worried face.

"Sir, do you feel any pain? Do you need anything?" she asked.

Red just nodded and slowly sat up. "Sir, the doctor said you're not supposed to move yet. Please lie down and don't be stubborn," Miss Dein advised, but it seemed like Red didn't hear her.

"Where's my wife? Where is Chelsea?" he asked, scanning the whole room.

"Ma'am Chelsea is not in your house, sir. I already checked the rooms and you're alone. What happened?" Miss Dein asked, confused.
