I wanted to immediately leave for Alastor’s realm, but Derek insisted we make a plan. I understand him not wanting to storm in there without knowing exactly what we’re walking into as we could endanger the girls, but it’s killing me that I haven’t been able to reach Maliyah. I am scared of what they could be doing to her.

Maliyah “Come this way.” I pull Accalia to the left and begin rushing down the narrow passageway. I follow the scent I know to be Aspen’s, taking all sorts of twists and turns in hopes of finding the exit or him.
