Chapter 32 - Xenia

After five minutes of waiting, I decided to check on him. I waved a hand to the dogs, wanting to reassure them it was okay and telling them to stay out of it simultaneously. Carefully I climbed the stairs, listening for any sounds but was only met with silence. So he’s off the phone.
