I quickly pushed Carlos away, The feeling of guilt drowning me as I looked at the pained expression upon Lucien’s face.

I had fucked up. I don’t even know how I was to explain myself. 

I was a mess of a woman who had no self-control. 

If I was someone who had believed in a greater power I would go as far as saying that I had sinned, Sinned bad enough to be shunned from the place of freedom after death.
