Confusion and Fear

James never left his room since he came back with his mate. He just wore clothes after Jonas reminded him that it might not be a good idea for the she-wolf to see him naked when she wakes up.

James was obedient and did as Jonas said. This made Jonas think that he did the right thing by contacting his brother because there was no way James would take orders from him. When he was done changing, he sat back at the foot of the bed watching the little woman sleep.

Suddenly, Maria stretched her limbs and turned when she felt the silk sheets against her skin. Her movements startled the man sitting at the foot of the bed that he quickly stood and went to hide in the dark corner of the room.

The little woman got the mighty beast nervous for no reason. Mmm silk, the last time she slept on silk sheets was when…when it registered to her, she jumped and sat up then started scanning the room.
