Chapter 29
MARINA
A strong smell woke me up. A strong, metallic smell. I sat up on my bed and looked around as I was confused. It was dark in my room, so I couldn’t see anything at first, but I felt uneasy and…icky. Almost as if I was dirty.
I touched my face then my neck and felt something sticky on me. I frowned and got out of the bed immediately, then turned on the light.
The smell was familiar. The sticky feeling was familiar.
I looked down at my arms and body and gasped. I was covered in blood again.
What happened this time?
It doesn’t matter. Whatever happened, I had nothing to do with it. I was sure of it. I needed to go take a shower and then figure everything out later.
So I hopped in the shower and started to scrub all the blood off. I didn’t finish until every inch of my body was squeaky clean then came out. I looked at the time. It was only 9:30 pm.
