MIRACLE POV

There is this feeling irking me out all of a sudden. I want to do something - anything. But what? I don’t know. I think Cain knows though.

“ Do you know what’s happening to me, Cain? ” I whisper against his chest, my voice coming out muffled.

“ No. I don’t. ” He replies without hesitation.

Deep down in my heart, everything tells me that he is lying for sure. Instead of confronting him about this or starting another fruitless argument, I decide to stay silent for my own sanity.

I need to fall asleep and stay asleep for as long as I can. Perhaps, I will be alright when I wake up again. This feeling will definitely be gone.
