Chapter 38 – Lost

He was beaten up really badly. He was in pain for a period of time. He couldn’t tell how long it was. When he came to, the sunlight shone brightly on his face. He couldn’t properly open his eyes and groaned in discomfort. Fuck! He felt restrained. Was he still bound? Did they forget to cut the rope? He wriggled, enduring the pain everywhere. He was heaving from exhaustion. He barely moved and he already felt weak. Shit! He’s hungry! He kept his eyes closed as he removed his bindings. Then, he spent a few minutes to regulate his breathing. It would help him heal faster. His lip twitched. Would it be too much to hope that his father packed some food for him? Highly unlikely.

He groaned as he sat up and assessed his surroundings. Where the fuck is he? He looked outside the window and the sight that greeted him was unfamiliar. Those fuckers! Did they dump him away from civilization?

The pain kept him calm, forgetting the anger. For now.

He found the bags and he checked the contents. Huh.
