CHAPTER FIFTY : EMANCIPATION

As Xavier, Asher, and Styria continued their reconnaissance of the town, their voices carried through the night air.

"We need to find someone who can shed light on the temple and the Moon Alpha," Xavier suggested, his voice laced with determination. "There must be someone here who knows the secrets we seek."

Asher nodded in agreement. "We should split up and ask the locals about the temple. Perhaps someone has heard tales or legends passed down through generations."

Styria, always observant, interjected, "But we need to be cautious. The darkness has already shown its presence here. We shouldn't trust everyone we meet."

Xavier glanced back at the camp, where Rey was resting under Lucius' watchful eye. "Agreed. Our priority is Rey's well-being and understanding her visions. We can't afford to take unnecessary risks."
