CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FIFTY : EPIPHANY

"If I tell you what should happen next, it won't happen", Seraphina said. "You three have roles to play and so you must figure it out on your own"

"You knew we would revive you and the forest, didn't you?", Rey asked.

"I hoped, I hoped that you would find your way here and so I took a gamble", Seraphina replied.

"A gamble?, I have been wondering how this forest barrier was broken through. But it wasn't broken through, was it?", Lucius asked. "You allowed them in... why?"

Rey turned to Seraphina in shock, she had never considered that possibility but as she thought of it, it slowly made more sense to her. Seraphina had to have let the Lycans in and she had to have allowed the forest be destroyed.

"You gambled on your own life?", Rey queried. "It doesn't make sense."

"I had to make sure things go according to plan", Seraphina replied. "I had to make sure we have a fighting chance and so I had to put everything on the line"

"I don't get what the play is here...", Luna said.

"You will see.
