CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SIXTY-TWO: THE BREAK IN

Argon crouched in the shadows of an alleyway just beyond the towering walls of the capital city. Clad in dark, hooded attire, he blended seamlessly with the dimly lit surroundings, his heart pounding in anticipation. Beside him was a mage from the veiled serpents, her robe concealing her identity, ready to lend her magical skills to the mission.

Argon's target was the Prince, the last remaining pure-blooded wolf in the capital, and the key to the Lycans' plans. The Royal Palace lay just beyond the city's main gate, a formidable structure guarded by the elite Royal Guards. But Jade had assured them that the Prince's security was not as tight as the rest of the Royal family.

Argon's plan was to infiltrate the palace quietly, avoid detection by the guards, and extract the Prince alive. He knew that any harm done to the Prince would alert the Crimson Pack and potentially disrupt their grand strategy, the last thing he wanted was to face off the Crimson pack in the Castle.
