As I looked at Aaron, a mix of determination and curiosity filled my eyes. I could sense his confusion, his desire to understand my motives, but I knew that I had to explain my decision to him. We stood in the dimly lit study, the scent of aged books and leather permeating the air. The crackling fire in the hearth cast flickering shadows across the room, adding an air of mystique to our conversation.

Taking a deep breath, I leaned against the polished oak desk, my gaze fixed on Aaron. "Aaron, I need to speak with this man at the city hospital," I began, my voice steady and resolute. "I have to know his side of the story, his reasons for betraying us and aiding the white moon pack."

Aaron's brow furrowed, his eyes searching mine for answers. "But Alpha," he started, his voice tinged with concern. "We have already gathered enough evidence against him. We know he provided them with critical information, putting our entire pack at risk. Why give him a chance to explain himself?"
