Chapter Twenty Nine

Levi’s POV:

I was engaged in a conversation with one of my trusted pack mates, Bruno, when his voice suddenly dropped to a hushed tone, his words cutting through the background noise.

"Levi," he began cautiously, "I thought you should know... Sarah is here. She's waiting for you in the pack house."

My heart skipped a beat, and my gaze hardened, fixated on a distant point in the room. Sarah, my ex-girlfriend. Memories flooded my mind, both good and bad, intertwining in a bittersweet tapestry. It had been months since we parted ways, and I had worked hard to heal the wounds left behind. But now, the mention of her name brought back a wave of emotions, threatening to drown me.

I felt a gentle hand on my arm, and I turned to see my current girlfriend, Jasmine, looking at me with concern etched across her face. Her eyes searched mine, sensing the shift in my demeanour.

"What is it, Levi?" she asked softly, her voice laced with worry. "I can tell something has changed. Please, talk to me."
