The door slammed open and Dani blinked as sunlight flooded into the room. Alpha Vos was driving, while Luca sat in the passenger seat and stared out the window, half expecting to see Dani out there, somewhere, staring back at him from the thick cover of the forest. Dani emerged from the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her body and another hiding her hair, releasing a cloud of steam as the door opened. She'd' been in there for a while and the pizza had arrived.
