The sight of Alpha Alvin drenched in the rain with his back resting on a tree trunk, his hands placed into the pockets of his pant and legs crossed made her heart skip in embarrassment and she immediately hid her face away from him.

She listened to the sounds of dry tree leaves crushing beneath his feet as he strode towards her.

She was embarrassed because he had been hearing all she was saying about him.

He squatted before her and used his left hands to raise up her head as he cleaned her tears from her face while staring at her with a slight smile on his face.

"I didn't leave you Annabelle, I wouldn't ever do that," he said and watched as she averted her gaze to him.

"But you already did," she said with a sad expression on her face.

"I didn't, Annabelle, I've been with you all this while, but you didn't see me," he said as he caressed her face.

"But you drove away with the car."
