"They couldn't even let us mourn in peace," Lucas's voice quivered with frustration as he recounted the distressing events. "Alpha Chul's phone suddenly rang—it was an unknown number. As werewolves, we could hear his conversation with the caller, and it was Alpha Abel, the leader of the rival pack and rogues. We sighed with relief when we heard our Luna's voice on the other end of the call. She assured us she was fine, but then... something changed."

Lilith listened intently, her heart pounding in anticipation of what Lucas would reveal next.

"She suddenly began screaming and crying for Alvin to save her," Lucas continued, his voice filled with anguish.
