Alisha:

Melissa was silent, but I could still see tears pooling in her eyes and it hurt me to make her feel that way.

But I knew I had to stand my ground now: if I gave in to her desires, then I would be the one left hurting.

“I’m sorry, Alisha,” she apologized with a croaky voice. “I- i really am,” she swallowed.
