Chapter Seventeen: Unpredictable

"T-Treyton..." I stammered.

When I looked at my hand I only noticed where Treyton was looking. I quickly released Andrei's grip. Because I'm sure he'll heat it up again.

"You can go now, Andrei," I nodded.

"Okay, take care."

Treyton's sharp gaze followed Andrei as he left the room. When it was gone I held my breath. I can clearly see how this seems to kill Andrei.

"Why is the fucking man here, Daphne?" he asked as he approached me.

"Saying goodbye because you turned down his proposal. Are you happy?"

"He said that I turned down his proposal?

"N-No."

"Are you okay now?"

Here we go again. He always likes this these past few days. It's too boring to repeat and change behavior.

"Accept his proposal. He's good at this. I promise, you won't regret buying their materials."

I saw it smirk.

"How are you so sure if you just met again?"

"I've known him since college, of course I know he won't just release material to be beaten."

"And then--"

"Stop. Jus
