Married Life

Heading back to our room, I can't help but feel angry at what King's mother had done at the breakfast table. Today was just my first day staying in their house but it felt like I was going to have a tough time coming. Suddenly Shawn starts crying in my arms as if he knows I am unhappy. I had heard that children were often affected by their mother's feelings even as babies but I thought it was a lie.

"You shouldn't have left like that. Letting my mother know that you are affected by her isn't a good thing. She will keep on bullying you." King said closing the door as he entered.

" Do you think I will let her? She is so determined to make things hard for me. The only reason why I am controlling myself is because of you. I don't want to ruin your chance with your grandmother." I said glaring at him as I continued to try and calm Shawn down.

But no matter what I did, Shawn didn't stop crying and even increased his volume. I was becoming frustrated but I didn't want to show it since Kin
