I walked towards the reception. While I was intended to walk as fast as I can, to others it resembles as if some dog or hitman is behind me. I walked at my maximum fast pace and soon reached the entrance.
I looked at the reception with happiness in my eyes.....but I couldn't find Martin there. God, damn it, where is he?. I was walking towards the reception while roaming my eyes around the hall searching for that one bloody asshole.
I will literally beat the shit out of him, if I see him, now. The anger for his actions, the pain of making him cry, and the curiosity to see him. All these feelings are fucking up my brain. God, why the hell am I the one is having all these problems?. I hate my life sometimes.
I reached the reception and took a long breath to control my curiosity before speaking."Excuse me," I said while tapping my finger on the reception."Hello, Mr. Harrison." the receptionist greeted with a smile."HelloI woke with my gentle pats on my hair. It felt so good, it's been a really long time since I woke up without my alarm buzzing or Celine screaming. I opened my eyes with a smile on my face and found Celine, caressing my hair, softly."Good morning, princess." She said in a soft tone."Morning, what are you doing?" I asked still with a sleepy tone."Waking you up, gently. Don't you like it?" She asked while playing with a strand of my hair."Yes, but what got into you?." I asked while stretching my body."Nothing. Why do you ask?" She replied and ended with a soft chuckle."Because it's so unlike you. Am I in a dream?. I must be in one." I said while poking her cheeks."What are you doing?" She asked while looking at the hand that's poking her cheeks."Testing whether I'm in a dream or not," I said and poked her again. She smiled making my finger poke into her dimple."
The morning, I woke up when I heard the alarm buzzing like a roaster. I groaned in annoyance with the sound of that stupid alarm clock. I didn't even know who kept it and I'm pretty sure it wasn't me. I opened my eyes slowly and grabbed the phone from the bedside table, I cut off the alarm clock and kept it on the table again. Likewise, my hand felt numb like every other day, but this time that wasn't paining, I was happy to hold him. I can feel my hand still around his shoulder and his hand on my bare chest. I turned my head towards him and saw found him sleeping peacefully. I also found a blanket on us. He still sleeps like a puppy. Oh, now he's smiling. Must be having a good dream. That's when the reality struck. The conversation we had last night, the kiss we had, and the conversation before and after that. I really want him to be happy like he deserved. I can and will do anything for him to be happy. I pulled him closer towards him and he
I closed the door and walked towards the couch carrying the wedding outfits in my hands. "This one's for the best man and this one's for the groom," I said while placing them on the couch beside Martin. I saw Martin looking at the tuxedo and examining it. His smile started growing as the minute of him seeing the tuxedo started increasing. "Martin, the breakfast is in front of you not beside you. Don't look at that tux with that hunger in your eyes." I said after snapping my fingers and making him come back to reality. "Don't talk nonsense. I'm thinking of you in the tux. You would look great." Martin replied right after I said. "You always had a thing for tuxedos, isn't it?" I asked while sitting on the armrest beside him. "No. I always had a thing for you in the tuxedos." Martin said with a smile while raising one of his eyebrows. "Yeah, yeah. But as I saw both the outfits side by side, the colors for t
I went towards the door and opened it and saw Dad and Ron. They both came in and were shocked to see Martin inside my room. "Martin, when did you come?" Dad asked with a surprised tone. "Last night, Master. I'm sorry for not informing you about my sudden disappearance. I will make sure this won't happen again." Martin apologized with a bow. "It's fine, son. Explain it to your dad, he was worried sick about you." Dad said in reply. "I'm sorry, dad. I should have informed you at least." Martin apologized again. "Promise me this won't happen in the future," Ron asked. "Promise," Martin replied immediately. Ron let out a small weak smile in reply. I'm sure he's going to answer hundreds of questions once he reaches home. "Are you both ready?. We need to get down." Dad broke the silence. "Yeah, just about to leave," I replied. "We both will be at the aisle, then," Dad sa
They did hair setting and makeup for me and Martin and we both got ready. The hairdresser and the makeup artist left the room leaving me and Martin. "How do I look?" I asked after inhaling deeply. "Perfect," Martin replied with a small smile. I nodded my head slowly in agreement. Martin came towards me and kept his hands on my shoulder. "You need to relax," Martin said while massaging my shoulders. I nodded my head. "Adam, you are not relaxing. Come on, inhale and exhale deeply." Martin said in a soft tone and showed me how to do it. "I'm trying. It's my first time getting married. I'm a little tense." I replied while doing the same as Martin suggested. "You always talk stupid when you are tensed," Martin said while leaving my shoulders. "Everyone will get married only once, damn it." He replied and hit my shoulder gently. "I know," I said and exclaimed. "You will be fine, jus
I walked down the aisle that was decorated with beautiful and colorful flowers, that perfectly reflected under the sun. Even the sun today was not that shiny. It hid behind the clouds making the weather warm and pleasant.I saw my relatives, friends, and other people sitting on either side of the aisle and in front of me was the person I hate most in the world, Adam Harrison. He looked like the star that's shining in the dark sky. He looked perfect in that tux and the way he's standing.....I can see girls looking at him without even blinking and when it came to Martin, he's always the cutest..... but today he did look stunning.Only if Ralph can see him, he would have fallen head over heels for him. The slow music started playing making me come back to the reality that I was marrying my enemy. Even though he looked stunning, his behavior still reflected in front of me. My brain flashed the memory of the past few days we met like a projector. I really am scared thinking
I was waiting for someone to get up and speak when I heard a voice from my side. I looked aside and saw Martin standing up. He was preparing himself for his best man's speech."I'm excited to listen," I whispered beside him."I never thought that one day, I would be standing in front of all of you and give a speech or...more like my opinion on my precious buddy, Adam on his wedding day. First of all, Congratulations Adam and Evelyn.I knew Adam since we were 5. It would be best described if I say, we both grew up together. I saw his sulky behavior, anger, friendship, calmness.....love" Martin looked at Adam when he said that."And all sorts of emotions. And every emotion he gets.....was way over top than others. His emotions are exaggerating, they are too much to bear. But...all those emotions are pure from heart and nothing else. It feels like it was yesterday, he left for Australia for his higher studies, and today he's sitting with his beau
We sat for lunch and the best part of embarrassment has started, making a toast. Mrs. Lawrenson started the embarrass the newlywed's ceremony, she's so cool. She stated facts and problems and the solutions for the problems.I really have to thank her for the solutions even though they weren't many. Then Mr. Lawrenson gave the speech and finally it was dad's turn, he said things I thought he didn't remember. Well, looks like oldies remember good. After that........Martin stood up. He told me things he really meant and I saw pain and happiness in his eyes. It broke me seeing that but I was happy at some point. His words made me realize that he finally started moving on from me.....for real. That was the best thing I can ever ask for.I stood up and hugged him tightly as soon as he finished the speech. Next, it was Celine....she told me things about Evelyn that maybe....only her knows. But why does it feel different? The way she looks at Celine was the same way Mar
