Ethan still remained silent but his gaze was still on her. Aviana assumed his silence as his answer to her question. It only meant one thing: he didn't like her. How stupid of her to have thought he would actually fall for someone like her? Someone who didn't have anything in her name, to boast about? But, she didn't put the blame on him. She blamed herself, because she knew he was out of reach for her. Because, she knew she was never his type, she couldn't compare to the classy women in his life. She was just his Personal Assistant, and he was her boss. There could never be anything more than that, between them. But why? Why did she have to feel this way? Why did she feel heartbroken?

She let out a broken sigh, before she released herself from his embrace and turned around. Her back facing him, she wiped a tear which had escaped her eyelid. She didn't want him to see her broken. She didn't want him to see her crying, just because of him.
