51. Tension

I really felt bad for how I treated Sophia and the tone I used on her. I wish I could take it back but I couldn't and I could tell that she wasn't happy with me.

We were progressing and suddenly she has to bring my dead parents up and I got triggered. I am still unable to get over their death simply because I witness them being killed in front of me.

It was one of the most terrifying memories of mine. It took me months to finally fall asleep even though I still dream of them.

I didn't like talking about them because it only reminded me of the painful days of my life and how I wished I had died.

Sophia has been avoiding it since she woke up. When I speak to her, she gives me short replies and it hurts me.

"What would you like for breakfast?" I asked her as I asked the woman on the phone to wait for some seconds.

"Anything is fine," she replied, reading the magazine in her hand.

"Just bring in the same food for two persons," I told the woman before ending the call.
