When Skyler denied being sick, person didn't buy it.."No, you're sick, you're burning up!"

"I'm fine, just tired" she muttered.

"Is it because of the sales party? Is it giving you too much stress?" He placed his hands on her forehead again when he asked.

"It's not it" Skyler immediately denied.

She knew how Mason was, he might stop her from joining the competition because of her health but she didn't want that.

"Beautiful..."

"I'm serious Mason it's not it, I will be fine tomorrow, I promise" She gave him a pleading look.

"What have you eaten since morning?" He asked and she shook her head.

"Nothing?" He widened his eyes.

"I didn't have the appetite and I don't want to go out, I don't want Grandpa to know I'm sick" she muttered.

"Fine, I'll go downstairs and get you some soup, hold on" he leaned closer to her and kissed her forehead before leaving the room.
