Time flew by so well because the next thing I knew, Christopher and I had had dinner and were already preparing for bed.

"I am going to work tomorrow. Will you be okay at home alone?", I heard him ask from the couch as I tried to lay properly on the bed.

Why wouldn't I be?

"Yeah, I would be", I told him anyways.

"I have your phone number. I will call you during lunch break tomorrow", he said again in his soft, deep voice.

"Oh! So, you had my number?", I asked immediately without thinking and I heard him shuffling on the couch.

I brought my head up to my head and slap myself on the forehead. Oh no!

"What do you mean? Am I not supposed to have my wife's number?"

I sighed before raising my upper body on the bed as I supported myself by placing my hands on the bed behind me. I looked towards the couch and apparently, Chris is sitting down on the couch as well.

"I did not say that", I replied with a roll of my eyes and he frowned at me.
