"We should go out someday", Chris said as he dipped his hand into the bowl of popcorn on my lap.

Chris had insisted on making popcorn for the movie and I willingly agreed and helped too.

The lights are off right now and the television is the only thing emitting light.

"Why?", I asked with a frown as I turned to look at him but his face is blue from the display on the television screen.

"It's a normal thing couples do almost every time, Adele", Chris replied in a boring tone and I faintly saw him roll his eyes at me.

"Mm", I hummed in a not-so-nice way and his head snapped toward me immediately.

He turned to look at the television immediately his eyes met my angry face I scoffed before turning to face the television as well.

"Am I the only one who finds this movie extremely boring?", I asked with a sigh.

"Yes, you are the only one and that's because you are not paying attention to the movie", Chris stated. "As always", he added after a while and I rolled my eyes at
