157. Drama Queen

Vincenzo's POV

My arms reached out for Rose when I stirred in my sleep.

Her scent and cuddles were enough to lull me back to sleep immediately.

My hand froze for a moment when I couldn't find her beside me. My arms stretched, but she was nowhere to be found.

My eyes opened, still heavy from the deep sleep I was in, but all my drowsiness vanished when I realized she wasn't sleeping beside me.

Panic coursed through my veins as I immediately sat up and hopped out of bed.

"Rose?" I called out and knocked on the bathroom door, expecting that she might be using the restroom, but there was no response from her side.

This scared me, and I started searching for her frantically.

"Rose!"

I called out once again, just in case she was somewhere nearby and I couldn't see her, but she was nowhere to be found.

"Rose, please come out. If you are trying to prank me, it's a very bad time!"

I could practically feel my heart thumping in my chest, but instead of alleviating my fears, her continued absence
