Brody's POV
Looking at her, I was totally confused. Why was it so hard for her to lie to him? "I'm his girlfriend." She finally told him.
"That's nice."
"Thanks Diego, I've heard a lot about you from Brody." She lied and I chuckled silently.
"You're pretty and I can't wait for our family to get to know you when granny...."
"Diego?" I interrupted and ruffled his hair, I didn't want him to tell her that my mother was coming. "You should go to your room now." I told him with a smile.

Karen's POVI walked into the ballroom and caught my breath. Crystal chandeliers spiraled down from the arching sky-blue ceiling, illuminating the glimmering golden walls.
