Chapter XIII.ii

At Jared's place, Rossie was hoping he'd have an apartment or a small house but... he has a big house but of course not as big as Jake's. When they got there, there were gardeners and helpers who were cleaning. They were greeting Jared with bright smiles on their faces and not all masters would greet back their employees but he did.

Then Jared explained to her that on Mondays, caretakers are arranged to do general cleaning which includes gardening. This explains why there were so many people at the moment.

"Why did you choose a big house and you live alone? Do you live alone?" she asked as she was following him inside the house.

"My parents used to live here but then my grandparents got older so they had to accompany them to the ancestral manor."

She bet that is where they will be going on Wednesday. "Is your grandparents' place as big as this?"

"Uhm... you could say that," he answers.

While they make their way to the kitchen, she noticed there weren't many family photos hung there
