Chapter 19 - Audition 2

Lucas' POV

I heard a bang on my room door, it was still early in the morning or at least I thought it was. What was it now?

“ Go away,” I grunted, shifting on the large soft bed I laid on. The knock was persistent and becoming more insistent and annoying.

“ Urgh!” I took a pillow and placed over my head and ears to cushion the sound of the knock. Why won't anyone let me have a peaceful sleep here? I was determined to ignore whoever it was and soon enough, the knock stopped.

“ Finally,” I sighed in relief as I closed my eyes peacefully to sleep. About ten minutes into my sleep, I felt a hand pull on my ear.

“ Owww,” I exclaimed in pain as the hand kept on pulling me up by the ear.

“ I think I might just send you back at this rate,” I heard Kasper's voice and my heart froze. Was he the one who sent the maid to call me? I'm so dead.

“ You don't have to keep pulling me up by the ear,” I complained. “ I'm wide awake now,” all I wanted was for him to let go of my ear.
