"Sophia, are you in the room?"

Edward had arrived at his apartment precisely at seven o'clock in the evening. After finishing work, he had a chance to stop first at a law firm to help take care of Sophia's divorce papers.

Edward wasn't kidding. He was earnest about separating the woman from her best friend, who turned out to be a jerk. If he had known Sophia's fate would be like now, maybe from the start, Edward would never have been willing, let alone let Sophia fall into Tristan's hands.
