Chapter 112

Lucy's pov;

Rupert and Daniel were discussing CCTV footage from that day of the accident. Rupert had caught a glimpse of someone who looked suspiciously in the footage. But while they argued, I noticed something strange: Dean was actually staring right back at me!

I felt my heart drop when our eyes met and I quickly looked away, embarrassed by my own behavior. But as soon as Rupert and Daniel finished talking, Dean quickly composed himself and went back to his usual business of avoiding eye contact with me.

During this time, I tried to avoid eye contact with him as much as possible and focused my attention on Rupert and Daniel.

Rupert, “With the information i gathered, this guy is not in town right now. If we find his whereabouts and get hold of him, then there's a chance of catching him in the act.”

Dean, “We can't just do that though. We'll get arrested if we try to get him without a warrant or probable cause."

Rupert, “Yes we can! We have nothing better to do! And I'm sick and tir
