“A wedding in six weeks?!”

Leonardo exclaimed and Viola rolled her eyes. Why was he acting so brand new?

“I thought you knew already? Why do you sound so surprised? Your mother did mention that the wedding was going to be rushed.”

His mother butted in at that moment with an evident frown on her face. She stood up quickly and smoothened her hair.

“Exactly!”

“You know what? I’ll leave you two to it. I’ll have Selena call you both up when it’s time for dinner.”

She left and it was only Leonardo and Viola in the room with an uncomfortable silence.

Leonardo looked at Viola again, he had been taken aback by it all. The wedding, the wedding dates. Especially when he had spent the past few nights with Vanessa Romano. He had tried to resist her, but he was still caught up in her seduction. Her feminine wiles and deception.
