Josiah
It’s been two long fucking weeks that Eunice is acting like there’s nothing between us. She is not ignoring me but it is so obvious she’s almost apathetic towards me.
Her words still linger in my head. She didn’t want to be my second option. She didn’t want to receive an attention that she doesn’t deserve.
Her words haunted me for that whole day that I couldn’t do anything but to ask Hannah to talk to me.
Suddenly, all I want to protect Eunice’s heart. Suddenly, all I want to save is Eunice. I hate that she’s acting so tough when in know that she’s already crying inside.
Her tear-streaked face brought me nightmares. Even when I close my eyes, all I can see is her weak smile as she told me that she doesn’t want to be someone’s second choice.
