AT THE AIRPORT

He was still on the floor weeping when he felt a hand touch his shoulder.

“She’s gone. It’s time we continue our lives from where we stopped'' Barbara whispered into his ears from behind.

She dragged her luggage into the hotel room diligently and she heaved a sigh as she walked to the bed. She unbelt the carrier and made baby Junior lie on the king sized bed.

“My prince charming,” she called as she gazed at his handsome face.

He was fast asleep and her heart became saddened by the fact that he was born into a time of distress.

“My prince, mom have taken you far away from home. I’m sorry I had to do this, my prince. But it was for your own peace and happiness” she said with a smile as she looked into his Innocent face.

“I promise I will take care of you, and give you the peaceful home you were deprived of. Mommy is going to do all she can, to make sure you are safe,” she assured with a smile as she sniffed.
