Chapter 31: The party

My confidence shatters just by looking at Dimitri’s baffled expression staring at me. He dislikes the way I look, I am certain of it. Dimitri turns around and walks out of the room. I follow him to demand that he tells me the truth, but before I can say anything Anastasia intercepts us.

“Doesn’t she look lovely, son?” She asks with a malicious grin. “I think that dress looks really good on her, don’t you think? Irina said green was her color and I can see now that she was right.”
