ANOTHER WEEK LATER

Alice finally gave up on the idea of calling Landon for the umpteenth time since he wasn't picking any of the previous ones.

A week gone and he was back to being the Landon she once knew—the Landon who didn't give a damn about anyone but himself—the Landon who totally forgot he has an almost three month old daughter.

‘You know what I can't deal with this anymore!'.She flickered her wrists as she tried taking off a tight silver bracelet.

‘Have you tried visiting?'.Emily asked as she walked into the room unexpectedly and Alice sighed deeply.

‘Hey Mom'.

‘Trouble with baby daddy?'.

‘He won't even take any of my calls and whenever I call the office,Georgie just says he's out in a meeting or whatever'.Alice grunted and her mother smiled.
