‘It was your sister Kayla ma'am.She was the one who came earlier'.The maid whispered into Alice's ear,even though it was unnecessary,she just felt like Alice needed to know the truth.
It wasn't the first time Kayla Montero visited the house and her boss wasn't interested in any of her advances which was a relief to her,she still wanted her boss to get back with his ex wife and Kayla was probably going to ruin it.
Alice frowned deeply at Landon who was focusing on his laptop,she didn't understand what was going on and why he would lie about her sister visiting.
She noticed there was a little tension between the two of them,hatred or something else she didn't know but she knew Landon wasn't a fan of Kayla.
